New Book Covers (...well, sort of!)

While I've recently posted on social media about this, I figured I'd put this here as well. Earlier this year, I reached out to my cover artist Rebecca at atrtinkcovers.com to do a cover for my forthcoming horror novel, Mister Jack: Requiem. And as usual, after some back and forth emails, she sent me a few rough drafts, so to speak, but totally nailed it. I'm quite pleased to show you the final front cover (full wrap coming later this summer). 

Since many of my loyal readers and fans of Mister Jack and Night of the Pumpkin God will be wondering about the book plot and synopsis, here ya go: 

The Prequel Novel to Mister Jack and Night of the Pumpkin God!

"Almost everyone in Summerdale knows the stories of crazy Josie Howard, an old woman reputed to be a witch living in the woods outside of town. 

But not many know the story of her early life, growing up with her mother, Elizabeth Howard, Summerdale's schoolhouse teacher. Because of her recent sordid past, Elizabeth is an outcast of sorts, with some accusing her of witchcraft.

It's the mid 1930s, and the country still struggles from the Great Depression. Prohibition has ended and folks are hopeful things will soon turn around.

Elizabeth has been dealing with a mysterious illness that she fears will take her life long before she's done raising her daughter. But her troubling health issues is the least of her worries.

Two sinister figures arrive in town before a late October solar eclipse. They plan an unspeakable act that could unleash malevolent forces beyond comprehension. And certain death is only the beginning of the end!"

But wait, there's more! Rebecca also wanted to tweak the covers for both Mister Jack and NotPG too. The artwork hasn't changed other than some minor tweaks to a few things but with a font style that matches the forthcoming book. And she absolutely KILLED it. Can't recommend her and atrtinkcovers.com enough, folks! Go check them out!

Pretty badass, right? The covers for both the ebooks and trade paperbacks have been updated for Nook and Kindle, and on bn.com for the trade paperback editions.
