Forthcoming and the (near-ish) Future!

So I've been working on a new horror novel project over the past few weeks, and will also be starting revisions/edits on my next horror release called Rebirth very soon. This one will be a novella and I had a total blast writing it. Also, here's the cover, designed by Rebecca at atrtinkcovers.com.

I've not really talked publicly or on social media about the plot synopsis, so here's an early teaser for ya'll:

"Benjamin Long lost his job in hospitality management during the Covid-19 pandemic, and then his marriage. As a result, he moved back home to live with his semi-retired parents. But as things got back to normal, Ben wants to rebuild his life, get a new job, and be able to live on his own.

After a close friend from college tells him about a men's health study that pays well, Ben decides to take part. It's easy money but there's also a catch. She needs his help. His friend is also an editor of a weekly paper and one of her journalists has gone missing after researching a story at the same location.

The Male Enhancement Health Institute or MEHI isn't what it seems. Dr Miriam Raine and her staff of beautiful young women are too good to be true. And soon Ben will uncover much more than he bargained for. His life might be in danger but he may lose his very soul!"

Needless to say, while not necessarily extreme horror or splatterpunk, there's a bit of both in it and also falls squarely into the erotic-horror subgenre.

Look for Rebirth to be unleashed this Fall!

Also, as I'd hinted at above, I've been writing a new horror novel called The Dagger, which can be best described as a coming of age horror novel set in the mid-1980s. I'm really looking forward to fully diving into this over the summer and fall. Hope to complete the first draft by year's end.

And then next year I'll (finally) be working on revisions/edits on Island of Devils, the followup to The Ravening. It's a monster of a book and easily the longest first draft I've written so far and most likely will end up being the biggest book to date. Initially I hadn't planned on waiting this long but got caught up in finishing the Roseblood trilogy and started writing Rebirth. But I can't wait to get this one cleaned up, trimmed and polished, because it's a wild ride of a book!

That's all for now! Happy reading/writing and stay cool, folks!
